RM Sovich Architecture designed this 5,000 square foot center for plastic and reconstructive surgery and Class C outpatient surgery center. Class C is the highest level of certification possible with the AAAASF (American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities). The OR (operating room) meets or exceeds these criteria, including, but not limited to: OR size, air filtration systems, infection control, cleaning protocols, safety protocols, physician and staffing credentials and other parameters. This is one of only eight Class C Surgery Centers in the State of Maryland. The facility is Medicare Certified and meets standards set by the U.S. government.
