Challenge
A tight urban site in a former community center in  Washington, DC— with a 45 bed program to server patients with behavioral health and addiction recovery needs requiring a residential, homelike scale not typically associated with dense city sites.

Outcome
Three small house households, across four floors, each a self-contained neighborhood of care rather than a wing off a central corridor.
