"Lune" by Jeff Luney of Los Angeles, California, USA. Writes Mr. Luney," This is part of an open-ended series started last year of "Mad Man" portraits. Using a passport photograph taken on 14 September as the starting point, I have replicated my left eye in the center of my forehead like an Indian holy man and created a necklace of these same manipulated eyes to stare out in an unblinking manner. Like the Hindu sculptures portraying Vishnu with multiple arms, the repetition of my eyes symbolizes how artists see things from multiple vantage points and stare at other people with such intensity that they are disturbed by the act of looking at us."
